SoC incorrect onQuattro/Cerbo/Smartshunt

SoC on discharge is dropping approx 2x actual based on AHrs consumed. A, V & W all reporting correctly.

This is a new install comprising 24V AGM + Quattro + Smartshunt + Cerbo. Cerbo connected to Quattro via VE Bus and to Smartshunt via VE Direct.

The Cerbo however is powered from a 12V source - could this be causing the incorrect SoC reading?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi @Andy-2XS

SOC isn't actually designed to match Ah discharged. The Peukert Exponent sees to that. Though your "2x" would indicate a very heavy load at the default 1.25.

For testing, try setting Peukert to 1.0 at a reasonable discharge level. This will actually show on VictronConnect (probably elsewhere too) as a change to SOC in realtime. You can then reverse that with no effect on the data. Bear in mind that Ah isn't a true measure of energy in itself, but it should get much closer to matching.

I doubt the Cerbo has anything to do with it. Try that little test to see, and perhaps record the temporary change on a VC Trends graph so we've something to work from.
