Why do Battery Temps vary widely between SmartShunt & MPPT, Multiplus and SmartLithium

Below are several iOS VictonConnect screens show seemingly significant Battery Temperature differences.

My SmartShunt has battery temp sensor and shares to MPPT over VE Smart Network and they read 88, which is also the ambient temp.

The Multiplus shows 96 and the Smart Lithium displays 94.

Up to 8 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 190.8 MiB each and 286.6 MiB total.

If I move the same sensor from the gx to the multi, the multi also reads well above the GX.

Multiplus is a Ve.Bus device and can't register temperatures measured by your ve.smart network. Presumably you're using the standard temperature sensor device that comes with a multiplus? That could just be measurement error between different sensors.

As for the smart lithium - its internal temperature measurements would always be different to external probes.
