Gap in data history -Easysolar 24/3000

Hallo !


For the second time this summer I have lost data in VRM - no data on dashboard or in advanced

(the system itself works fine :-)


The first time was in July, and I found out that it probably was caused by an update on July 14th.

The same thing happened on the 10th of august, which i rectified on 14th of august.
(I am not sure, but I may have switched og the main "output" switch on the 10th of August -but this shouldnt affect the CCGX/VRM /data history....?)


Both times I have rebooted the system (on site) and solved the problem.

(The system is on an island away from where I live (in Oslo) I have no means of checking on the system when I am not there.)


Very curious to why this happens....

Hi Eric,

As long as the ccgx is powered, it will keep sending data to vrm (unless internet is not available ofcourse).

If there is no internet, it backlogs data for 48h only.

For such a remote site, I recommend to disable auto updates; and instead update manually.

What might help is the relatively new Network watchdog feature, see in this chapter. https://www.victronenergy.com/live/ccgx:start#datalogging_to_vrm
