Before I could use the MK3-USB adapter to set up my new Multiplus I altered some of the factory DIP switch settings.
Do I need to return the DIP switches to their factory positions or does the software (I use VictronConnect only) override them anyway?
From past experience with other models, I advise that you reset all DIPs to factory before performing your programming with VC. In general it seems like the software usually overrides the DIPs, but I've occasionally seen issues arise with conflicting DIP/software settings, so best practice is to reset the DIPs first.
