LiFePO4 / LFP Monitoring Options

A theoretical system outlined below, with DC loads only.

- Smart Solar MPPT 75/10 (+PV)

- VE Bus BMS

- LFP Smart 12.8 150Ah

- Battery Protect BP-65

Noted that there is local Bluetooth monitoring for MPPT and smart battery. However, if monitoring is required on VRM/online what options are available?

My understanding is GX devices can be interfaced by to a VE Bus BMS via a Quattro or Multi. Any other options?

The VE.Bus BMS can control the battery protect directly, you do not need to have a VE.Bus device. Likewise a GX device can monitor a DC only system such as you propose.

Thanks for the reply ...so the GX device and the BMS can operate independently of each other?

Correct, the actual VE.Bus connection is not necessary unless you have a MultiPlus or Quattro.
