Upgrading old Multiplus 48/5000/35-50 Firmware

Hi we have some old inverters in our network that require upgrading. However they have very old firmware version 158 running on them. When we try to update it doesn't work - which we are assuming because it is too big a jump. Can anyone suggest a method or pathway to get these updated to the latest? Appreciate any insight

Use VEFlash to update the firmware. You'll need to manually download the correct firmware file from professional.victronenergy.com.
