Can I Connect a new BYD LVS to "old" BYD B-Box 2.5 ??

Hi,

I am building a new home and need to upgrade my solar system.

Current situation: Victron EasySolar 48/5000/70-100 MPPT 150/100 Color Control
B-Box batteries (3x2.5 kwh) in cabinet
4x 320Wp LG NEO panels

I can extend my mppt with two more sets of 4 panels S/P connected, i got that covered, but.....

In the cabinet is space for one more 2.5KWh BYD battery, but they are very hard to get. Now i wonder , is it possible, and does Victron support, connecting 1, or more batteries from the new LVS series? (I know you could connect two or more "old" BYD cabinets and have 10/20/30 ..... KWh).

My batteries are 2.5 (x3) so i have 7.5 KWh now.
I see the LVS are 3.84 KWh.

Hi @Marcel_Solar_Spain.

This is not supported.

Last time I heard from BYD about this matter, they said they were going to make the old style batteries available for people in your situation.

I think EFT is likely to have the definitive information on this, so I would suggest contacting them directly;
