When setting the genset autostart in CCGX menu for OG system, I usually also chose AC load among other conditions. I normally set it just below the overload value, because I prefer to start a genset before the actual overload happens.
But the AC load setting is in Watts, which in many cases doesn’t show the actual image, due to very poor power factor of some loads (sometimes below 0,7). For this reason I believe it would make more sense to have this setting in Amps, which would show the actual load, regardless of the power factor.
I’d appreciate if this would be considered in one of the next editions of Venus OS.
