SmartShunt Input

My SmartShunt is installed on an RV and is monitoring two Battle Born GC2, LIFEPO4 batteries with solar controlled by a BlueSolar Charge Controller MPPT 150/35. The Output list shown on the main screen has Voltage, Current, etc. The Input only lists the "Starter Battery." Is this normal, or should the display show the solar, and, when appropriate, input from shore power?

Hi @kmrice, welcome to the Community!

The SmartShunt can't differentiate between different sources of current input or output, so you won't see "solar" or "shore power", you'll only see current being put into the batteries by a charger or current being taken out of the batteries by loads.

For complete information regarding the proper connection, configuration, and options of the SmartShunt, please see the user manual.

Thanks for your help. So, is it normal for "Starter Battery" to be shown under Input, and nothing else? Is all current coming in shown as "Starter Battery" voltage?
