Temp Sensor on MultiPlus and VEBus Smart Dongle

If one was to connect a temperature probe to the VE.Bus Smart Dongle to measure battery temperature and also to a MultiPlus to measure the temperature of the cupboard it is in, will the Cerbo GX pull two temperature values from the VE.Bus or just one?

That will work but as suggested by @klim8skeptic you need to use your GX for the other probe. The VE.Bus Smart dongle takes priority over the Multi's own sensor so you will only see one. With the second sensor connected to the GX you will see two. I am 99.9% sure the Smart Dongle sensor will automatically be selected as the Battery Temp Sensor but if it's not then you need to enable DVCC (selecting only Shared Temp) and then manually specify which sensor to use for the battery. Also make sure you are running GX firmware 2.60.

You could use the temp sense ports of the cerbo, use 1 for the battery, and the 2nd for something else. View in remote console, or VRM.
