GX thermometer calibration offset.

Hi,

I have two thermometers ducted to two batteries.

First question, can I hop one to the positive and the other one to the negative? this are isolated right? (Would do that due to space arrangement)

Second question, one battery is always 3ºC higher than the other one, that couldn't be aleatory, my guess is that one of the sensor reads higher. Is there any way to calibrate this on the Cerbo GX

Thermostats are located at the side of the batteries, marked with a cross, would like to put them on the most outer posts of the batteries (circle)

Also would like to calibrate them properly.

Temp sensors are: ASS000001000

PS: thinking on fitting one thermostat on a fridge, are this water proof

@alnavasa It is because you do not have superuser access.
You can set superuser access:

The temperature sensors which are used with the GX (ASS000001000) are isolated from the tag.
You can calibrate any offset in the temperature sensor menu on the GX.

As a sidenote the temperature sensor which works with the BMV / Smart Shunt (ASS000100000) is NOT isolated and must always connect to the positive terminal.

can you guide me through the menu to how to calibrate the temperature sensor, I can't find it, It looks like it has being pulled of the menu the option to calibrate them.

Are this sensors waterproof (to be used inside the fridge)

As an example, from Device List -> Generic Temperature Sensor -> Setup -> Offset

What if the temperature sensor is not showing on the device list?

Temperature sensor is connected and VRM shows the temperature.

Do not have sub-menu I/O w menu settings.

My temp sensor is connected to EasySolar-II GX, and in VRM I can see temperature measurement.

Sorry Marek, I thought you also have a Cerbo like the original poster.
EasySolarGX does not have temperature sensor on the GX.
Your temperature sensor is connected to the Inverter / Charger section of the EasySolar as a VE.Bus sensor, not a sensor in the GX section. That is why it is not available in the menus of the GX, there are no configuration options for this.
This is shown in VRM as a temperature sensor under the VE.Bus System.

Thank you and I am sorry to but into the topic not related to my question.

I did not know that my GX is not the same GX the autor has.

I incorrectly assumed that if I connect temp sensor to device with GX than I connect it to GX.

Sorry again. My bad.
