Cyrix-Li-load suitable to switch an inverter?

I have been using a BatteryProtect 220 as protection for all loads, including a non-Victron 1000W inverter. I happened to see this thread where it seems Victron have updated the BP documentation to recommend not switching capacitive loads (i.e. an inverter) via a BP, and that doing so is a common cause of failure.

I get the impression that the Cyrix devices are electromechanical (bistable?) relays, which suggests they should be less susceptible to failure due to inrush currents. However I can't find any information whether they're designed to handle an inverter load.

(my inverter does have a remote on/off, and a low-voltage cutout; the latter is not useful as it's set for lead acid battery voltage, and I'd still like to have a just-in-case option if the remote off fails to function)
