VRM connection to Venus GX super slow.

I have a Venus GX connected to a Multiplus 24/3000/50.

The VRM portal connection on the phone app is very slow and makes it very difficult to deal to control the system - The menu keeps disappearing and so I often hit the wrong button.

am I doing something wrong how can I speed this up because it is very frustrating just trying to turn the inverter on and off. (I am on a yacht so don't like it running when not in use).

It may be your internet connection?

If you are on the same network as the venus device you should be able to connect directly without going over the internet.

VRM access to local GX LAN address

on the app it should do this automatically but it might be worth trying in a browser to work out if the app is what's slowing you down.
