battery, phoenix inerter, BMV 700

Hello everyone, I am here to ask if someone know a way to avoid using BMV700 but still protecting your battery from full discharging. I want the phoenix inverter to stop working when SOC is 50%, so the best way is to use a BMV 700 which will open is realy when SOC = 50% and act on remote in the phoenix inverter and shut is down.

So cant I use a phoenix inverter only without the BMV to protect the battery?

If yes how? if no, propose me another method?

sincerly regards

Hi,

you can configure cut off voltages with VE.configure or DIP Switches on bigger Phoenix inverters.

On smaller Ve.Direct inverters, you can set cut off voltages in Victron Connect App.

Smaller Inverters without config interface have fixed cut off voltages. The small units have 10.5V, the big ones 9.2V.

If you want to cut off, based on SOC level, a BMV is an easy method.

Markus
