I have changed the units used for GPS speed to mph from m/s using Remote Console. It still shows as m/s when viewing from the VRM dashboard and the ModbusTCP states that the units are m/s in the spreadsheet. Does this unit change not transmit through to VRM and ModbusTCP?

What are you basing your (very informative and comprehensive!!) reply on? If you take the Tank Level configuration, for example, if i change the units to litres, this seems to get passed to the modbus mapping (spreadsheet states cubic meters) and VRM seems to report litres also. Why is the GPS config different? Is the modbus mapping available for tweaking by end users?
