Venus GX relay as switch for small load

Can I use the Venus GX relay to switch a small load (20W @ 24V) off when not required and set this via the VRM Remote Console.

Hallo IanF,

Here is an extract from the venus gx datasheet. Seems the potential free relay contacts are rated for 6amp @ 230V, and 30Vdc.

Can someone from Victron confirm?

That is correct.

Please take care when switching DC-loads: capacitive loads have high 'on' currents (when loading capacitors), and inductive loads (like coils) have high 'of' voltage spikes that need supression with a diode.
