CERBO GX Mk 1 to be replaced with MK2?

On Nov 30, 2023 Guy Stewart stated "For most users there is no big advantage to them having the MK2 over the MK1 right now, but MK1 will be phased out and replaced with the MK2 for everyone as we can increase production."

Does this mean those of us who have a CERBO GX Mk 1 will have it replaced by Victron? If so, when could that be expected to begin? I had just bought my setup a month or so before the new CERBO Mk 2 was released. Yes it works as is, but the reversed RJ45 ports and 3rd active USB port would really be useful.

No. There is no such program, nor any vendor that replaces perfectly working gear.

It is normal lifecycle behaviour that new revisions become available. This applies to the whole product range.

It's more referring to supply...once the MK1 supply is gone, the only product on sale will be the MK2.
