How to reduce generator draw when charging batteries

Hi, can anybody advise if it’s possible to reduce my generator draw through the Vrm when charging the batteries ? At the moment it’s running at its max 7kwh, I’d like to reduce to 5kwh so the generator is not maxing out all the time. Also, I don’t want to reduce any solar input by doing this if possible ?

I’ve been through the menus, but can’t see anything

You need to limit your current input on the ACin for the generator. About 22A would be approx. 5KVA @230V (22 x 230 = 5060).

Assuming override by remote is on.

On the VRM dashboard, top right is a switch icon. Click on that, gives you the option to set input AC current.

These won't directly affect solar input, but if it does, use @JohnC 's method of slightly reducing the multiplus absorption voltage.

Hello Jason, This is how I control the INPUT from the generator . On the touch 50 swipe to the next screen, keep on swiping till you see at the bottom part the screen AC Current Limit beside this is AC Mode ON. I think you should have 60 amps at the bottom of the AC current limit. I think it is the default input. Click on the amps from there you should have a small control block with + / - . So from here change the input. There is another way to do it. I find this is the best way to make changes. Good luck.

An update, your pic showed the remote desktop, not the dashboard. From the remote desktop you can access it under settings.
