MultiPlus-II 2x120 and Autotransformer on a boat to create 120/240

i am building a boat, that use 12V DC, have 120/240 ac shore power.

I want to have 120/240 when not connected to shore power. i have a Multiplus II, 2x120, that can only produce 120V.


i have read that i can add a autotransformer for that task, but cant figure the connections. i have made many schematic tries, but always missing (the image attached is what i think is closer to reality)

can someone help me out and draw me the schematic i need?
