SmartShunt Tx port feature request

It would be really nice if the SmartShunt Tx port could be configured for alternate functions, similar to the MPPT solar chargers. On which you can set for example a voltage based load-disconnect or a streetlight function.

For the SmartShunt, it would seem obvious one would want a SOC based load disconnect, though honestly any of the already configurable alarm functions could be useful.

Personally, I would not even put a disconnect relay on it, just a piezo buzzer.

Hiu @cybermaus,

Sorry it's taken a while to respond to this, It sounds like a good idea to me.

I have forwarded on the feature request to R&D.

Great, thanks.

For a tiny camper like mine, such a simple, low current use (as compared to full Cerbo GX online monitoring) solution would be great, even if the signal is a simple alarm on/off signal.

Now, at the danger of over requesting: After I made above post I was thinking a bit about the practical use of such a buzzer, and it may be good if they made an option for an "intermitted pulse".

After all, when a battery is already at low SoC or low voltage, we want to reduce even the few mA of a buzzer, especially when continuous.

So something clever like: pulse 1x per second if there is battery energy draw. But do that only for 1 minute every 15 minutes if there is no energy draw (which is likely when camper is unattended)

But I am sure your engineers can think of even cleverer solutions.
