Remote console: Error in browser "noVNC ready: native websockets"

When I load the remote control panel i get this error

"Remote console

Failed to connect. Make sure to enable Remote Console for VRM, set or disable the password and then reboot the GX Device."

Then I see this in the developer console in my browser

"noVNC ready: native WebSockets, canvas rendering"

Cerbgx version is: 3.12

Looks like the VNC application did not start when the cerbgx restarted.

Any ideas?

Notes:

  • The remote console worked at one time.
  • I can access the remote console for other installations. So it's not my browser.
  • In the device list I see a valid "remote on lan" address and remote support is a valid wan address.
  • The unit's dashboard is working. Real-time monitoring is working.

The problem was fixed by turning vrm portal off and then on.

Clearly, this is a bug with the VRM. It VNC service must have hung and then did not know to restart. This was fixed when the portal was turned on and off.

WHY has no one from victron said anything about this???
