Status of the battery goes to idle at 15-25 percent [SOLVED]

Hi,

If I discharge my battery there is still about 15-25 precent left and the battery status goes to idle.

I tried different settings in Venus OS, like BatterieLife On/Off, SOC limit Down/Up but without any success.


Anybody has an idea?

What battery? What's the voltage (click on "show details" in the upper left)?

Show us your VE.config settings.

It is a (noname?) diy 16x 3,2V LiFePo4 batterie with a JK BMS.

Your highest dynamic cut-off is at 52V and your battery is at 52V so it stops.

I would use the recommended BYD settings for a 16S system:

Your charger settings are very low for a lithium battery. 48V is pretty much flat. Looks like the BMS and chargers aren't configured correctly.

It is in a sustain state so ESS isn't right either.

Ok thanks, but apart from that, why is the battery not going below 15-25 precent?

Given that it is in sustain, it would be voltage related. So ESS settings.

Would really need to see a detailed voltage/current VRM chart for the battery.
