I would like to change my AGM service battery to a Lifepo battery.
The control circuit in my small Fiat Ducato Roller Team camper has a Nordelettronica 185-16T shunt that controls al electrics (pump, lights, 12V fridge etc).
It has no setting to charge a lithium battery, just a battery relay that kicks in when the motor starts up.
Would simply inserting the dc/dc converter between the starting battery and the 12v input on the 185-16T shunt solve my problem? I would like the dc/dc converter to charge my lifepo battery while in the meantime let the fridge relay on the 185-16T shunt do its task to cool the fridge while driving.
