Phoenix Inverter 24/2000 where is the UART connector

Hi good people,

I hav the Phoenix Inverter 24/2000. Not the smart version. I think it's called blue.

I got it as a gift, completely assembled. I would like to connect ESP32 to it But I'm simply not able to find out where the UART connector is.

Is that one of the RJ45 sockets?

VE.Bus ?

Is this your Model # Inverter ?

Phoenix C24/2000 Datasheet

Communications interface
These larger Phoenix inverter models come with a VE.Bus port. All you need to connect to your PC is our MK3USB VE.Bus to USB interface (see under accessories). Together with our VictronConnect or VEConfigure software, which can be downloaded free of charge from our website, parameters of the inverters can be customized. This includes output voltage and frequency, over and under voltage settings and programming the relay. This relay can for example be used to signal several alarm conditions, or to start a generator. The inverters can also be connected to a GX device (eg Cerbo GX) for monitoring and control.

Yeah I read it too. But the inverter is in the basement and my computer is in the office in the second floor.

That would be a veeeery long USB cable. And even doesn't say where to connect it to. Also most microcontrollers do not have USB port in the traditional meaning.

Did you read this?
Alternatively, the Interface MK2.2b ( VE.Bus to RS232 ) can be used (RJ45 UTP cable needed ).
That cable might work.

You wrote "... And even doesn't say where to connect it to ...",
When you get your VE.Bus cable ...
Push the Male RJ-45 connector, into the Female RJ-45 socket, until it clicks.
Exactly like, connecting an Ethernet computer cable.
