Grid usage and input on Multiplus II differs

Good day

We have installed a 5kva Multiplus II

The entire house has been wired through the inverter, we have had multiple tests done,

What is happening is that the VRM shows that the usage from the grid is say 19Kwhrs but the customer uses the exact same amount of units from the grid, it is as if the system is not installed,

But the panels are completely covering his load and charging the battery, you can see on VRM, but his meter says different.

Any ideas would help please.

You have to look at all the tabs to see how grid and solar was used. Some will go to the battery. There is always grid usage in an ESS so there will never be zero grid usage. This happens because of the setpoint as well as after grid loss. Absolutely normal, translates to around 0.6kWh per day. Fairly typical depending on the setpoint.
