Color Control GX relay NO NC - contact close time adjustment

Hi I have a Color control GX running firmware 2.71

The relay function is for genset auto start. The problem is that sometimes the relay will not close long enough to allow the genset to crank fully to start.

Is there a way to have the contact to close for longer without using a 3rd party off delay relay?

Thanks for your help :)

When the relay on a GX device (CCGX in this case), it closes when the generator should run and opens when the generator should stop. So the relay will close and stay closed until all conditions that want the generator to run no longer exist (e.g, when the SOC is above the stop value.

I'm not sure why you are seeing the relay open shortly after it closes.

When the generator requires separate start and stop pulses, external "one-shot" time delay relays are generally connected to the GX device's relay. If this is the case for you, you should be able to adjust the period these external relays are closed. That adjustment will depend on the relay used.
