Load/charge disconnect from Cerbo GX and CAN Bus BMS

Hey guys,

I am building a camper van. Currently, I am setting up the electric system at 24V with the following components:

  • 2x Pylontech UP2500 24V 2,8kWh Internal BMS with CAN Bus
  • Multiplus II 24/3000/70-32
  • BlueSolar Mppt 75/15
  • 2x Orion-Tr Smart Isolated Booster 12/24-15
  • Cerbo GX + GX Touch 50

The Pylontech Battery is capable of communicating with the Cerbo GX via CAN Bus. The Multiplus II and the BlueSolar are connected via VE.direct. The Orion-TR only has a remote On/Off, as far as I understand, so does not receive any information via the BMS. As it has loading characteristics for LiFePo4 batteries no particular worries about that.

However, I am wondering if a need a charge disconnect so a cyrix li and a batterie protect for the load side? If yes, where can I get the signal for disconnecting from the cerbo GX to control the cyrix or battery protect? Or does the battery disconnect internally and not need any extra devices?

Any further suggestions for the setup?

Thanks for your help and support.

Best regards

Pablo
