Good day, we have received a CGGX which has been registered on VRM platform, we have requested access to this CCGX, but whoever registered this unit is no where to be found, how can i get access to this unit?

Registered CCGX on VRM
Hi. If you can't communicate with the person that set it up I would set up a new VRM and add your CCGX to it. You need the VRM Portal ID from your CCGX under settings - VRM Portal. Adding a CCGX to a new VRM Account:
Replace the GX device of this installation
Use this option in case the old GX device is defective and has been replaced by a new one.
Procedure
First install the new device and make sure it is sending data to VRM. Then add this new device to your existing VRM account (https://vrm.victronenergy.com/add-installation). At that moment there will be two installations visible on VRM: the old and the new one. Go to the old installation, the one that has all the historic data that you want to keep. Then go to this page, select the new VRM Portal Id from the list, and click Replace.
Now, there is a single installation again, that still has the old data and all information as sent by the new device will be added to it.
Your old data will not be able to get back until you find the person that set it up to start with.
