OneHelm apps crash while Cerbo GX is pushing data

Hello All!

We are using the Cerbo Gx for a while on our boats now (15 installations right now)

What we are experiencing is that after the Garmin MFD update and the Cerbo GX firmware updates it crashes the other apps. The Victron MFD app, EmpirBus, seakeeper stop working after a while.

First we thought it was because of the MFD update. However when we disconnect the Cerbo GX from the marine network everything works like a charm.

How the connection is going:
Cerbo GX (lan port) > PoE isolator > Garmin GMS 10 network switch

Could we get some tips on how to solve this? we want to keep the GX in and use the MFD app like it is.

@Remco Halman that sounds like a very bad scenario losing EmpirBus and Seakeeper. It is not the sort of thing the client would understand. I had a problem in this thread that is not as bad as that but still concerning. https://community.victronenergy.com/questions/102159/cerbo-gx-ethernet-integration-with-garmin-8417-mfd.html

Unless it integrates perfectly it is not really worth the risk. I am keen to hear if you get any advice on this problem.

@Trevor Bird for now we still don''t have a definite answer. Which is getting quite a issue, with more boats leaving the yard and all. No digital switching is possible anymore.

Hi @Remco Halman , is the MDF app still reachable when you try with a computer or phone on the same network?

it sounds so unlikely that Venus could somehow influence the Garmin, it's just a web-page...
the Cerbo is not connected to the n2k network?

@Daniël Boekel (Victron Energy Staff) Hi Daniel, All apps are stil reachable while using the direct connection. But not on the MFD's anymore.

I added the external HTML log of the module. As you can see at first it's ok but later only venus.local gets polled and does a timeout on the system as a whole of 10 sec. In the meantime no other apps can get polled. extern_html_log.xml
