Voltage loss compensation.

When running a PV controller through a argo diode isolator, should there be some compensation for the ~.3v loss over the schottky diodes used in the isolator? If so how? My controller is a SmartSolar 100/30. Lastly, while still on topic, will a Smart Battery Sense module take care of communicating the voltage loss to the controller?

Hello @David Yes, the smart battery sense will provide through the bluetooth connection the terminal voltage and temperature of the batteries so the controller will have an accurate reading of the battery voltage.

Only on the battery being SBS monitored though.

The other battery could be at a different temp, or on a longer charge wiring.
