GX error #48 after upgrading firmware

I am now receiving the above error after upgrading to firmware v2.84 from 2.23. I have rolled back to 2.23 and turned of DVCC however I am still getting the error

Please give details of the affected hardware and other parts of your system. Which Venus OS version are you running?

Its saying that the other units connected need to be updated to the latest firmware as well. so that they can use DVCC. if you dont update them then you were not using dvcc on that device before so it really does not matter
