EasySolar II + Pylontech US3000C - Do I need to set battery charge voltages?

Hi team.

I’m currently setting up an EasySolar II 48/3000/35 with PylonTech US3000C and trying to get comma working between the battery and inverter

I’ve made up my own CANbus to VEcan type A cable as per the pin out in the manual, tested and correct. To my understanding, once this has been installed, the BMU inside the Pylontech should set all appropriate settings inside the Victron. However, this isn’t happening. The GX can see the battery, but it has defaulted to an deep discharge led acid setting. Similarly, inside VEconfigure, when I pull the current settings from the inverter, none of the values have been correctly adjusted.

I’m curious if I’m getting something wrong, or if perhaps I have simply misunderstood what the manual has told me, and I still need to manually input settings as per Pylontech’s specifications?

Cheers,

DVCC should regulate the voltage and current but it doesn't change the settings inside the devices.

You should always set the correct charging voltage by your self.
