Multiplus not respecting "Input Current Limit"

Hello, I'm trying to figure out why my system isn't respecting the "Input Current Limit" setting.

My system is a Cerbo GX (HQ2033B814Q) controlling a Multiplus 12/3000/120-50 (HQ1803CAAZB).

My Multiplus is not respecting the "Input Current Limit" setting. For example, here is how my system is currently behaving:

Input Current Limit: 4.5
AC-In L1: 16.1
AC-Out L1: 17.6
Mode: Assisting

Can you please help me trouble shoot this issue?

An addition detail. The Current Limit setting DOES seem to work when in "External Control" mode, but it does not in "Assisting" mode. I don't switch modes manually, it seems to switch from "External Control" mode to "Assisting" mode as I increase the AC load.

@cedarm

The Multi has the 'master' setting for this internally.. (VEConfigure here)..

That tick must be there if one of the several external means of setting it are to work properly.
