Smart Battery Sense Low Voltage Protection?

Hello this is my first post on the forum. Looking forward to collaborating here as I build and learn about Victron systems. I am wondering if the Smart Battery Sense product has a low voltage protection circuit that would prevent over-discharging a lead acid battery without a BMS, such as a typical car engine battery. The manual says that current draw is .3A by the Smart Battery Sense on idle. For example does the Smart Battery Sense shut itself down if voltage is below 11.5V etc or just run down the battery it is attached to until it is completely exhausted?

@VanLife3D My manuals say that the SBS draws 1.6mA at 12v, when connected via BT.

Thats 1.15Ah for a month. (30 x 24 x 0.0016 = 1.152)
