Cerbo S GX victron direct usb issue

I have a Cerbo S GX and have overloaded my 3 ve.direct ports and had to buy one of the usb to ve.direct cables to connect a bluesolar 100/30 I got from a friend. I stayed away from the right usb port (power to display) and used the far left usb port on top. The Cerbo S wouldn’t recognize my device. I tried swapping one of my 3 ve.direct cables and plugged it into the blue solar mppt and it did recognize it.

Any issue with Cerbo S that prevents usb to ve.direct cable to devices?

Test the ve direct to usb cable with a pc or tablet make sure it is working.

Connect it to the mppt and the other device and open Victron Connect.

If it works then ask for a warranty check/replacement on the Cerbo unit.
