Can I use an Orion-Tr Smart 12/12/-30A to charge a battery that's not in a car?

I have a Multiplus II 12/3000/120 and a blue smart charger 12/30/3 for my main array and batteries. If my battery banks are fully charged, would it be possible to use the DC to DC charger to use excess charge energy for a sperate battery bank? Do the DC to DC chargers HAVE to be used in a vehicle?


There have been loads of Orion DC to DC questions asked but rarely are they answered. Finding any information about this has been very hard so any help would be very much appreciated

No, they are not specific to cars or boats.
