802.1x (WPA2-Enterprise) WiFi Support on Victron CCGX

Is there support for connecting the Victron CCGX to an 802.1x WiFi network using WPA2-Enterprise? This would require authentication using both a username and password, rather than just a shared password as in WPA/WPA2-Personal.

Even though the UI doesn't reflect this option, is there support available in the underlying operating system, and could you point me towards the relevant config files if so?

Hi,

This might be possible by first connecting the venus device via ethernet and logging in using ssh. The networking is handled via connman and there is a command line tool called connmanctl. Perhaps connmanctl allows to enter the username and password after starting it and giving the commands "agent on", "scan wifi", "services" and then "connect wifi_xxxxxxxxxx" (use the name from the list that is given after the services command). There are also a number of webpages on how to configure connman in combination with wpa2-enterprise, although these all seem to use a form a config file preconfiguration.

Good luck,
