Gen start/stop

Hello,

Is there any way we can start/stop a generator based on a load appearing on AC out 2 of a Quattro? I can't see this condition in the CCGX, is there a way to use the programmable relay for this using an assistant?

Thanks.

Up to 8 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 190.8 MiB each and 286.6 MiB total.

AFAIK: No, only the total load on both outputs can be used.

What about using the ACout 2 relay condition as per below? Does this drive the programmable relay based on a load on AC 2?

No, you can drive the AC out 2 relay with as one of the programmable relays.

What exactly do you want to accomplish? maybe there is a smart solution available.

Usually you drive the generator start / stop based on SOC / battery voltage combined with the total load (AC1 + AC2)

Internally, the inverter only measures total output, and cannot differentiate what's on AC1 and AC2.

They want to be able to turn on the generator when there is a call for hot water which is wired via AC out 2.

either run a relay along the heater when it switches on, to one of the inputs of the multi, or the simple way: use total AC use to activate the generator. if the heater is 3kW, you can use 3kW as a value.
