I have just installed a second solar system at my place in Mozambique, my question is if I am the one to first register it on the VRM portal am I the administrator?

That is correct. You are the administrator with full control able to make systen changes.
You can invite and set others to full control as well. They will then be able to remove you as a user or change your access rights.
