Phoenix Smart IP43 charger (1+1)

Hello all,

I have a question about the Phoenix Smart IP43 charger (1+1).

The 1+1 variant is supposed to offer two outputs.

Unfortunately, there is only one plus and one minus.

How is this supposed to work with the 2 outputs (starter and consumer battery)?

Thanks in advance

Jens

Guten Morgen Matthias,

und wieder eine Antwort von dir.
:-)

Vielen Dank

Jens

Trickle charge connector can accept cables 0.33mm² - 2mm².
Main terminals can accept cables up to 16mm²

Remote on / off operation is explained in the manual:

Thank you wkirby...

But I didn't´t get it really.
In general the charger works with the shore connection.
If the shore connection is not there = no charging.
If I plug the shore connection in, I would expect that the charger is charging automatically.
Is it required to switch the charger separately on?

And pull H to plus or L to minus...
I don´t understand what is that for?

If you want to switch the charger on and off with shore power, that is no problem at all. In that case, leave the jumper in place like from the factory. The charger will work automatically as you expect.

The remote terminal provides additional functionality for anyone who needs it. For some other people it is useful to have the charger disabled by remote devices or by a BMS for example.
