Multiplus II external ground relay setting

So installing a few Multiplus II's in US/ split phase with an autotransformer. The manual lacks clarity here. On the Quattro you leave the "ground relay" box checked in VEconfig, flip the dip switch near the small terminals to "reroute" the signal to the external relay terminals. On the MPII there is no dip switch to "reroute" the control signals to the external terminals. Does the inverter sense an external relay and reroute on its own? Does disabling the ground relay in VEconfig enable the external terminals?

Whats the proper procedure on a MPII?

Hello, the ground relay terminals are ACTIVE as soon as the INTERNAL ground relay is de-activated in the Ve configure software.
