I have a problem installing a Ve.Bus BMS. When I connect the VE.Bus BMS to my 24/3000, the error message "# 7 Ve.Bus BMS without assistant" is displayed on the ColourControl. In addition, the "inverter on" indicator flashes on 24/3000. How can I fix this?
You need to setup your 24/3000 inverter correctly . you need a MK2 or MK3 and then the config software from victron and then setup and install the correct lithium assistant. to suit your Cell balancing units

You need a cable...or...as you say you have a colour control: If the CCGX is connected to internet, you can use remote configure.
in the VRM portal, go to 'device list' and choose 'Remote VEconfigure'
you'll need the VEconfigure software.
I have done that now. what do I have to change exactly? under "General" only the three values of the battery or something else?
