Early start the generator from Cerbo GX before reaching SOC

Hello, we got a problem in a system where we have:

1. Victron Quattro 48/15000/200 - 6 pcs.

2. Victron SmartSolar MPPT VE.Can 250/100 - 8 pcs.

3. Victron Cerbo GX + GX Touch 50

4. BMZ ESS 9.0 - 9 pcs.

5. Fronius Symo 10.0-3-M - 1 pc.

We have SOC start enabled to go at 50% and stop at 90%. But Cerbo GX starts generator immediately when the system goes into inverting mode and before reaching SOC 50%.

We can`t sollve this problem. Any ideas?

Here I saw the same problem:

But after downloading the log file we saw that everything was ok with SOC. You can see it hear:

check to see if you have the battery monitor turned off in all the quattros, as you are using a BMV there is no need for this. anyway, or if no BMV then turn on the quattron bat monitor and set that as the default, for the time being, just to test if the issue goes away

also check that the default battery monitor set in the Cerbo is set to the correct one.

I presume you are on FW2.60 and that the quattros are on reasonably late Fw version, if not try a latter version

also turn quite hrs off just to simplify things until its sorted

also set min gen run time to zero just to simplify things until its sorted

Just something to check for and to try

We don`t have BMV in our system so we tried to set Quattro battery monitor as default but still have the problem. On the CerboGx panel we put bat. monitor settings as: can bus bms (so the SOC is measuring by BMZ Bms. What`s next?

Do you think this is a software bug or maybe a hardware glitch on the Cerbo GX panel?

Thanks for your reply! I appreciate your support.

By the way, we decided to reboot Cerbo GX and then simulated a network outage. The generator started up according to the specified parameter SOC 50%/ But after the generator turned off the bug repeated.

Question, Does the Cerbo report something like 'started by SOC state"? or something else?

And by the way, the SOC in the Multi's is a calculated one and can not reflecting all Bat usage.

No information on Cerbo, just see the information in VRM that relay is closed in the same time when system went to inverting mode. Second - didn`t understand the statement, could you explain?

Alex.
