I have been, unsuccessfully, trying to get home assistant to talk to my GX. The docs are confusing and dated.
Does anyone have a simple guide for setting up the configuration.yaml file?
HA keeps complaining about "mapping values not allowed here" and the various examples all differ from each other.
I have resolved the issue. Part of the problem is using a Mac (M1) with apple silicone.
HA tries to load Pymodbus and failed. It needed to be removed then reinstalled.
At that point I could successfully pull data off the Victron systems.
solved that error, was a syntax issue. Just cannot get anything from the Victron to appear (and Modbus is enabled on the GX).
