Pylontech SCS Shared Current Sense

The Pylontech documentation is silent on the SCS parameter:

Default is on. Must it be on? I will update it based on this answer.

SCS only has effect on the tail current measurement used by MPPTs to end absorption phase - when the MPPTs use their internal charge cycle.

If an ESS or battery bank is controlling MPPT charge cycle via 'external control' then SCS would have no effect.

Understood, but I want to update the documentation to make is clear to installers that they can leave this on. Am I correct?
