Orion TR Smart bluetooth range

What is the bluetooth range of this device? Any way of increasing the range?

Hi @bon, welcome to the Community!

There is no way to increase the BT range of these devices, but in practice we usually see a functional range of ~10m, which is typical for BLE devices. This heavily depends, obviously, on external factors such as obstructions and etc that will decrease that range.

Orion-Tr Smart 24/12-30A - poor Bluetooth performance... it amazing that a "high quality" product cannot do better... I have a 15$ Chinese Bluetooth just beside the Orion and I got a very good signal

Come on Victron... :-(

Fenix, I am sure you tried this, but if not, try turning off that Chinese Bluetooth device.. It might just be interfering with that on the Orion-Tr.. flk k
