RS 48/6000 Smart Inverter Start up Voltage

Hi folks, the data sheet gives the start up voltage at 120v but operating from 80-450. My solar panels would be 3 x 320W in series with 38.05 voc and 31.58 vmp. Would the built in mppt fail to start/charge at these voltages? If so would adding a fourth panel work? Its for a caravan so space is limited but it may be possible to add a fourth panel. Thanks for any advice.

In your case, 4 panels or higher voltage panels would be STRONGLY recommended.

The Inverter RS MPPT is really intended for larger PV arrays.

Also be aware it is for 48V battery banks only.

Thanks Guy, yes this would be powering a 7kw 48v battery bank.
