ASS000001000 temperature sensor range

What is the operating range of the ASS000001000 temp sensor for the Venus GX? I am wondering if it can be used to monitor alternator temperature (up to 130° C).

Hi @Mike_G,

AFAIK the temperature sensor using a LMx35, which has a max. rating (according to the Ti data sheet) of 150°C. Some speak of 100°C. I would be careful.

Thanks, @Stefanie. Perhaps I'll throw a sacrificial LMx35 at it first and see what happens.
