Phoenix Multi 3000 wiring remote on off / local charger

I'd like to remotely switch on and off the inverter ("on" on the front panel) which runs to a conviniently situated switch but also swiches more things at the same time. When I need charging I need to keep the inverter off in case of malfunction or generator running out of fuel. Therefor I want to have the front switch sitting on charger only.

As it is wired now I switch over to another inverter since the multi can only do either or but is then remotly switched off so "charger only" is disabled too.

I then need to take out the two wires and put in a bridge. Is the third port for the charger only side and I can put a bridge there?

How do I need to wire it?

Cheers guys

Yes that's correct - use a SPDT 3 position switch to select between on / off / charger only.

See section 5 - Appendix A, Connection H in the related manual;
