BMV 712 smart compatible with Quanta Sealed Lead Acid Battery

Hello,
Before i go ahead to buy a Victron BMV 712 Smart , i will like to know if it is compatible with a Quanta Sealed Lead Acid Battery.

The BMV is fully programmable for all types of lead acid battery.

Thanks a lot.
One more thing. I will like to be able to view and manage BMV remotely. Since it only supports Bluetooth, that means i am limited to a certain distance. Is there anyother device i can use to make this possible?
